is a leading supplier of innovative spectrum management and engineering software solutions.

We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join our team and support the implementation of our web application product into a Microsoft Azure environment for a customer in Australia.

This is a full-time remote work opportunity.

The successful candidate will contribute to ensuring the successful implementation and smooth integration and operation of the application within our customer's Azure infrastructure.

This role will require the candidate to undergo a screening to obtain an AGSVA Baseline security clearance and undergo regular police checks

Responsibilities:
Collaborate with development teams to deploy and maintain COTS web application software product in customer's Microsoft Azure tenancy.
Configure, monitor, and optimize Azure resources including virtual machines, databases, and networking components.

Support the implementation of pipelines that support Continuous Integration and Continuous Development of the web application utilising Azure Dev Ops.

Work with Design and Development team to implement reconfigurations and adaptations to the COTS web application's stack to meet customer requirements.

Product feature implementation.
Support of data migration effort from multiple pre-existing data sources to a single database schema.
Must perform analysis, scripting and documentation and testing and reporting of data migration effort.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Azure services and web application performance.
Implement and maintain security best practices within the Azure environment.
Provide post-delivery Level 3 technical support and guidance to customer and subcontractors and internal team members.
Periodic travel to Canberra or Melbourne for periods lasting 1-2 weeks to support project requirements.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Experience performing Business Analysis activities (e.g.
creating PBIs, swimlane charts, wireframing, etc.).
Strong capability in the areas of software programming and web application development, preferably with PHP programming.
Strong understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to obtain an AGSVA Baseline security clearance and undergo regular police checks.
Willingness to travel to Canberra or Melbourne periodically for face-to-face project meetings.

Exposure to basic concepts of radio communications such as wireless radio propagation methods, radio interference, and antennas would be advantageous.


Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with Microsoft Azure (e.g., Azure Administrator, Azure Developer).
Full stack web development.
Familiarity with Dev Ops methodologies and tools.
Knowledge of relevant scripting languages.
