About the Role:
Quad Lock is looking for their next Manufacturing Engineer who will assist in overseeing the manufacturing inputs for Quad Lock's production processes and products.
You'll ensure high-quality standards and efficient operations, playing a crucial part in maintaining the excellence and reliability of our products from start to finish.
What You'll be Doing:
Assist in the establishment of business systems (that align with ISO Take the lead in root cause analysis activities both internally and with suppliersInterpret data from CX team to develop and maintain product failure rates, using this information to evaluate product designs and implement design/process improvementsActively participate in DFMEA and PFMEA processesAssist in the preparation of drawings from CAD modelsAssist in the establishment of tolerances for products and lead tolerance stack up analysisManage PPAP for all manufactured componentsManage ECR process internally and externallyMentor the Manufacturing Team in our Shenzhen officeMentor Junior Engineers in the Melbourne OfficeStand in for the Manufacturing Manager where requiredAbility to travel both locally and internationally if requiredWhat You'll Bring to the Role:
Proven experience as a Manufacturing Engineer in the Plastic Injection Moulding Industry (Tier 1 automotive supplier experience, highly regarded)
B Eng - Mechanical or ManufacturingWill consider a trade background with extensive experience working as a Quality or Manufacturing EngineerAdvanced knowledge of MS Office productsExperience with ISO , with preferred internal auditing experienceProficient in Solidworks and FEA methodologiesCan-Do attitudeWhat it's like to work at Quad Lock:
