About the Role

Contract Part-Time 0.6 FTE (days negotiable) through to 31 December 2023 up to Full-Time hours. The Rostering Clerk is a key member of the rostering/scheduling department, providing support to the Regional Scheduling Officer. The role ensure appropriate allocation of resources to meet clients' service needs through undertaking timely communication with Support Workers and regional teams about changes to rosters.

  • Based from our Mount Barker Office, your duties will include
  • Contacting available Support Workers to fill unplanned vacant shifts
  • Ensuring shift allocations comply with contract requirements, minimum training/credentialing requirement and client preferences
  • Escalating inability to cover shifts to Regional Scheduling Officer in a timely manner
  • Ensuring rosters comply with Award provisions
  • Working towards Support Workers being rostered to their capacity
  • Assisting with induction for new employees in the Time recording system, provide user support to existing employees and undertake training as required
You will demonstrate skills in effective communication, prioritisation of tasks, and attention to detail. You will be a great problem solver with a customer service focus and have the ability to maintain privacy and confidentiality when working with sensitive information

You'll have:

  • Minimum completion of Year 11 plus relevant previous customer service experience
  • Obtain and maintain a NDIS Worker Check
  • Class 1 Drivers Licence
  • Medicare issued Covid19 Vaccination certificate including booster
