Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement developmentally appropriate programs and activities for children aged 3 months to 5 years old, based on the Early Years Learning Framework
  • Foster positive relationships with children and families, and promote a welcoming and inclusive environment
  • Observe and document children's learning and development, and use this information to inform program planning and individualized learning plans
  • Work collaboratively with other educators to create a safe and stimulating learning environment for children
  • Provide ongoing support and feedback to children, and assess their progress against developmental milestones
  • Maintain accurate records, including attendance and incident reports
  • Comply with all relevant legislative requirements and organizational policies and procedures
  • Participate in professional development activities to maintain and enhance knowledge and skills in early childhood education

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification
  • Valid Working with Children Check
  • Sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, and ability to work independently
  • Passionate about providing highquality early childhood education and care

Salary:
$ $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
