The Role

We are in need of a skilled Auto Electrician to join our team in Port Hedland due to upcoming growth in the area. As an essential team member, you will be responsible for providing electrical troubleshooting services, performing maintenance, and handling repairs on various plant and product lines.

Requirements:

  • Australian Accredited Auto Electrical Qualification and a valid driver's license, Relevant Trade Qualification (Possession of an Air Conditioning license is advantageous)
  • Proven experience with mobile plant equipment and heavy machinery
  • Prior exposure to field service is advantageous
  • Ability to attend multiple sites
  • Demonstrated expertise in mining equipment maintenance
  • Strong understanding of Workplace Health & Safety and a proactive approach to hazard reduction
  • Capability to showcase Hitachi equipment while identifying service opportunities
  • Excellent diagnostic, problem-solving, and technical skills
  • Team player with the ability to work independently
