We are expanding our administration leadership team in our Brisbane West region and have two exciting full-time Clerical In Charge opportunities at our Indooroopilly and Mount Ommaney (including Richlands) clinics.

This would be the perfect opportunity for a senior healthcare administration team member looking to advance their career, or for an experienced Clerical In Charge / Head Receptionist / Medical Secretary looking for a change.


As Clerical In Charge, you are pivotal in ensuring smooth operations and the best patient experience and must be comfortable problem solving and troubleshooting on a regular basis.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Recruiting, onboarding, mentoring and developing the clerical team
  • Day to day practice management ensuring efficient workflows
  • Delivering exceptional patient experience
  • Billing and account management i.e. Medicare resubmissions
  • Patient record management
  • Previous administration experience in a medical / healthcare environment
  • Working knowledge of RIS and Patient Archiving Communication systems
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
  • Empathy
  • Practical approach and cando attitude
