For those considering a role as an Aged Care Worker, it's with every customer, and on every shift. It takes a special individual to be a Care Worker and support the elderly members of our community. We are searching for the right fit to join our KinCare team in Orange.

What you'll be doing:

  • Domestic Assistance: Ensuring the homes of older individuals are safe and aesthetically pleasing
  • Aiding customers with meal prep and shopping
  • Offering social support and transportation to recreational activities
  • Providing personal care including morning routines, medication assistance, mobility aid, and therapy support
  • Delivering respite care and emotional assistance
  • Providing transportation to appointments
  • Delivering specialized care for customers with high needs

Desired Qualities in a Care Worker:

  • No accreditation required to apply
  • Relevant work experience - care worker, support worker, etc.
  • Demonstrable experience in Personal Care with clients
  • Passionate about supporting our elderly community to maintain independence at home
  • Hold a valid Australian Drivers License (class P1 or above) and own a registered vehicle as travel is part of the role
  • Stay composed in challenging situations, understanding that setbacks happen
  • Available to work at least 3 weekdays, Monday to Friday, with no evening or weekend shifts
  • Capable of working autonomously and problem-solving, while also knowing when to seek assistance from your Manager
