Lead Group have recently formed a partnership with a prestigious client seeking a dedicated and technically adept Electrical Estimator to join on their growth trajectory. In this dynamic role, you will play a pivotal part in delivering precise quotes, tenders, and bids, covering a diverse range of technical areas, including electrical installation, network infrastructure, audiovisual systems, and security solutions.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize your expertise to design electrical, structured cabling, CCTV, EACS, and AV systems.
  • Take charge of the entire quoting process, from take-offs to comprehensive document preparation.
  • Engage with suppliers and contractors at a technical level to ensure accurate project costing.
  • Manage the procurement of materials and equipment essential for project execution.
  • Provide invaluable guidance and support to project teams, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Act as a liaison between clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure project alignment.
  • Proactively monitor project progress and address any issues or challenges that may arise.
  • Ensure strict adherence to regulations, codes, and industry standards.
  • Cultivate a safety-oriented culture and advocate for best practices on-site.

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven track record with projects ranging from $100k to $5mil in value.
  • Comprehensive understanding of electrical systems and their intricacies.
  • Demonstrated ability to conceptualize and design technical solutions.
  • Hands-on experience in electrical, structured cabling, CCTV, EACS, and AV system design strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in generating accurate quotes and effectively liaising with suppliers and contractors.
  • Possession of an Electrical License is preferred.
  • Candidates with Open Cablers accreditation are highly regarded.
  • Strong logical and analytical thinking skills.
  • Previous experience in electrical contracting within the Defense Industry is advantageous.

Qualifications:

  • Australian Citizenship with a current security clearance or eligibility to obtain one.
  • Valid National Police Check or willing to obtain one.
  • Possession of a Working With Children Check.
