The role of Procurement Analyst will see you join a high-performing team at a tier-one company that works together to develop and provide solutions for our customers.
About the role
As a Procurement Analyst you will coordinate broader market assessment and supplier research, RFQ/RFT preparation in support of the tendering activities and direct support to Procurement teams, by providing expert advice and reporting across the division.
The Procurement Analyst will focus on market trends and security of supply, and further maximise efficiency of the tendering process.
Main duties & responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Responsible for preparation of tendering documentation, and creation of tender evaluation criteria
- Perform indepth Bid Evaluation and recommendation to relevant stakeholders
- Supplier Relation Management by maintaining regular checkins with key suppliers, and by providing regular feedback to stakeholders of the findings
- Actively participate in crossfunctional activities to further improve the relationship between subcontracting and purchasing teams nationally
- Liaise with Subcontract Specialists to guide and assist with market approach, supplier selection, and assist with contracts formation as required
About you
The role requires you to have detailed knowledge of procurement practices.
Ideally, your skills and experience include:
- Relevant degree or qualifications in business, procurement, supply chain or finance
- SAP purchasing module exposure and experience would be considered a strong advantage
- Sound experience within tendering, market assessment, strategic and transactional procurement environments
- Understanding of RFx processes and Sourcing (Direct and Indirect)
- Experience in data reporting and analysis
- Experience of Purchase Orders templates and ability to understand Purchase Orders Terms and Conditions
