As a Client Development Manager at Unispace, you'll play a pivotal role in expanding our client portfolio by creating, maintaining, and fostering relationships with clients and partners.

You'll have the opportunity to work with some of the most senior decision-makers and be responsible for strategic planning and consultative selling to achieve successful outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Creating a winning strategy and then executing that strategy with the assistance of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Executing the client development strategy in line with our strategic and core accounts.
  • Capturing local client insights in collaboration with Client Engagement to support the continuous evolution of our strategy.
  • Developing and executing projectspecific strategies.
  • Reporting on projectspecific opportunities and risks, including the continual live updating of Salesforce to ensure it is up to date and accurate at all times.
  • Executing, maintaining, and growing strategies locally.
  • Collaborating with the Melbourne team to build local client strategies around focus areas (geographic/industry).
  • Undertaking networking and client engagement tasks such as introduction meetings, coffees, lunches, etc.
  • Mapping and managing key client relationships (new, existing, and previous contacts and firms).
  • Collaborating across disciplines, regions, studios.
  • Communicating across disciplines to create projectspecific awareness.
  • Resourcing crossdiscipline project teams effectively.
  • Executing and implementing Client Development standards/practices, processes, and technology solutions within the Studio to enhance the capability and effectiveness of the organization.
  • Operating in compliance with ethical practices.

Your experience:

  • Certificate or degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in the Design & Build industry.
  • Proven track record of presenting to clients.
  • Understanding of commercial real estate leasing terminology and transactions.
  • Experience in managing a diverse team in preparation of bids.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate with impact.
  • Ability to build relationships and establish rapport with clients.
  • Proven track record in pitching for success.
  • Resultsdriven with a strong focus on driving for results.
  • Business acumen and understanding of market dynamics.
  • Ability to influence others and build consensus.
  • Familiarity with Design & Build methodology.
  • Knowledge of procurement processes.
