Role Purpose


We are seeking a creative, thoughtful, and meticulous
Product Development Manager to join our Product team in a full-time position operating with a hybrid working pattern, based at our global head office in Collingwood.


Reporting to the Senior Manager, Product Development, you will be responsible in managing and coordinating the development of new and existing products in line with Aesop's philosophy, product principles and positioning.

Working on a variety of projects and categories, you will be responsible for project management of allocated projects/products throughout the stages of an established New Product Development (NPD) process.


You will work closely with both internal (R&D, Packaging, Supply Chain, Marketing, Creative) and external (Product Designers, Suppliers, Manufacturers, and others) teams to deliver fitting products of exceptional quality.

A balanced creative _and _analytical thinker, your ability to capture innovative ideas and translate them into robust project timelines will underpin your success in this role.


A global role with remit across Asia, ANZ, Europe and Americas, this requires flexibility in working hours/arrangements to accommodate the need for regular regional/global meetings within and across time zones.


What we are looking for

  • Experience in New Product Development and/or Innovation is essential
  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Engineering, or an equivalent field
  • Strong/Proven project management and organisational skills
  • A detail orientation with excellent follow through skills
  • Demonstrated ability dealing with multiple projects or tasks at once
  • Practical, positive attitude and adept at problem solving
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to build effective and influential relationships in a crossfunctional team environment.
