  • The Health Information Services (HIS) Team ensures medical documentation is available on our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) to better optimise safe and timely patient care at the Royal Melbourne Hospital

Your New Role:

  • Preparation, scanning and quality assurance of patient medical records
  • Completing hospital ward rounds to collect notes in a timely manner for scanning
  • Operate and maintain RMH systems, including:
  • Patient Administration System (iPM)
  • Digital medical record system Enterprise Content Management (ECM) system
  • Electronic Medical Record (EMR-Epic)
  • And any other relevant system used by Health Information Services
  • Actioning release of information requests received by external organisations
  • Filing and tracking of paper based medical records

About You:

  • Medical Terminology knowledge
  • Proficient PC skills, including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Effective organizational and time management skills
  • Previous experience with working within a health information service will be highly regarded
