Overview


The Riverland Mallee Coorong Local Health Network (RMCLHN) Compliance and Assurance Manager provides professional, confidential and comprehensive administrative and complex project support to functional areas within RMCLHN.


The Compliance and Assurance Manager is responsible for leading the development, implementation and establishment of processes for ongoing improvement of legislative and policy compliance, and assurance strategies, ensuring RMCLHN has strong quality management, systems and processes to deliver on strategic objectives and compliance requirements.


The role is responsible for:

  • Ensuring an informed, consistent approach to integrated compliance as well as reporting and monitoring of activities.
  • Ensuring an effective compliance program including design, maintenance and ongoing improvement of compliance systems, processes and reporting that is aligned to the SA Health System-Wide Integrated Compliance Policy Directive that encompasses: Legislation and Regulations; Industry Standards; SA Government and DHW Policies and Frameworks; Employment arrangements; Third party arrangements; and Consumer engagement.
  • Providing leadership, education and advice to Executive and Senior Managers involved in the regional facilitation of integrated compliance activities.
  • Coordination of the RMCLHN annual integrated compliance certification including lead up preparation work required prior to report submission to the System Leader, Department for Health and Wellbeing.
  • Managing the Legislative Compliance Service program including monitoring legislative changes that may affect RMCLHN and initiating actions where and as required and providing relevant Legislative Compliance Service reports to RMCLHN Governance Committees and responsible owners.


The Compliance and Assurance Manager will provide oversight and support to ensure Policy Management functions outlined in the RMCLHN Policy and Procedure Framework are met.
