We provide a range of emergency, surgical, medical and general healthcare services, including maternity, palliative care, mental health, drug and alcohol, residential care, community health and state-wide specialist services to people and communities that are diverse in culture, age, socio-economic status, population and healthcare needs.
An exciting opportunity now exists to join the CSSD department at Yarra Ranges Health, Day Surgery Unit, on a Permanent Part-time basis, as an Instrument Technician Grade 4, with no after hours, on-call or weekend service between Monday to Friday.
The unit consists of two modern and well equipped theatres within the Yarra Ranges site and forms a part of the wider Eastern Health Surgical Program.
Theatre lists include Ophthalmology, Oculoplastics, General, Urology, Gynaecology and Plastic Surgery.About you
To be successful in this role you will possess:
A current Certificate 4 in Health - Sterilising Practice for Technicians and greater than 3 years' experience (full time equivalent) as an Instrument Technician
Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experience
A strong commitment to high quality care
The ability to work as part of a diverse team
Excellent communication and organisational skills

Vaccination against infectious disease is a mandatory requirement of this role.
