UGL's manufacturing team based at our operation in Broadmeadow, Newcastle NSW and we are looking for Electrical Trades to join the team on a permanent full time basis.


  • These roles will be paid under UGLs Newcastle Operations Enterprise Agreement working on a 9 day fortnight with every second Friday off, hours are Monday
  • Thursday 5.30am 2.30pm and the Friday you do work is 5.30am 1.30pm.

About the role

  • Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager this role will see you working in a rail component overhaul team conducting fault finding, cable and component removal and replacements as well as electrical disconnect and reconnect of locomotive cabling

About You

  • Australian recognised trade certificate and hold a Certificate of Proficiency
  • Electrical
  • Excellent fault finding experience
  • Not afraid to get your hands dirty
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Reliable & punctual.
  • Commitment to a safe work environment and practices.
  • Ability to interpret schematics and production drawings.
  • Work autonomously and in a team environment.
  • Focused on quality work & customer service excellence.
  • Forklift license is desirable but not a necessity.
