About the role
TAFE NSW has an exciting opportunity for motivated individuals with current experience in
Arts and Media to join our team as a permanent Education Support Officer, located at our
Eora Campus.
Your role will be responsible for a range of tasks which directly and indirectly supports the learning process for students from various backgrounds and needs.
You will be a part of a dynamic team, helping students to understand their learning materials and concepts whilst creating an innovative and exciting educational environment.
Note:
This role does not teach or prepare lessons or resources and does not deliver training nor undertake assessment.
A Day in the Life
This role helps to support and build relationships with the students in the Arts and Media section within the Sydney Region.
You are motivated and dedicated to assist students to achieve their highest potential through effective collaboration and communication with a range of stakeholders.
You may be required to assist in technical support to students either face to face or online.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a lasting impact on your local community and to support students and monitor their ongoing engagement and completion of activities.

To be successful in the role you must have:
- Certificate III in one of the following, or above:
- Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander CA
- Music
- Design Fundamentals
- Ability to understand the content of the learning materials and the processes used the Arts and Media Industry.
- Highlevel interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to be proactive and show initiative and ability to explain ideas in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to meet all the selection criteria as outlined in the position description.
