  • Full Time
  • Permanent role
  • 5 days per week hrs
  • Some opportunities to do extended hours shifts on Tuesdays and Saturdays and alternating Thursdays.
  • Providing Case Management support to clients aged 1665yrs
  • Providing quality mental health and discipline specific, client centred assessment and treatment that is evidence based.
  • Works within a multidisciplinary team and lived experience workforce

ABOUT YOU:

  • Qualifications as RPN3, OT 2, SW 2, or P
  • A current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Psychiatric Nurse; Occupational Therapist; Psychologist and eligible for Social Work Membership Endorsement
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
  • The ability to think critically and problem solve effectively
  • Knowledge in different therapeutic techniques
  • Knowledge about different referral pathways for clients requiring short and long term support
  • Be consumer recovery focused care with consumers, inclusive of carers / families.
  • A good working knowledge of the Victorian Mental Health Act 2014 and relevant legislation

Mercy Mental Health & Wellbeing Service (South West Area Mental Health Service) is a public mental health service supporting people in southwest metropolitan Melbourne with severe and complex mental illnesses by providing acute and community-based care.

Services are available to adults through acute inpatient programs, residential rehabilitation programs and crisis and community recovery-focused treatment programs. We also deliver inpatient and community specialist perinatal mental health services to women and infants in western Victoria.

Mercy Health & Wellbeing Service is a Catholic organisation grounded in a 2,000-year tradition of caring for others.

Founded by the Sisters of Mercy, Mercy Health is made up of more than 9,500 people who provide acute and subacute hospital care, aged care, mental health programs, maternity and specialist women's health services, early parenting services, home care services and health worker training and development.
