Our client is a key player in the real estate and investment industries, recognized for its wide-ranging portfolio and international presence. They specialize in diverse property types and are well-known for their strategic acquisitions and effective asset management.

Job Description

  • Work closely with offshore financial teams to ensure precise and timely preparation of various financial documents, such as management reports, financial statements, and budgeting and forecasting analyses.
  • Manage relationships with external service providers, supervising their submissions and upholding quality standards.
  • Collaborate extensively with the headquarters in Singapore to streamline monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing processes, as well as budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Interact with external auditors and tax advisors to efficiently handle year-end and tax compliance matters.
  • Supervise treasury operations, including bank covenant reporting, cash flow management, and forecasting tasks.
  • Carry out credit evaluations on vendors/tenants and address any other financial issues as they arise.

The Successful Candidate

  • Minimum of 12-18 months of hands-on accounting experience, preferably in a Big4 Accounting Firm or a reputable Real Estate Business.
  • Currently pursuing a CA or CPA Qualification.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the AASB Framework, coupled with in-depth knowledge of Australian income tax and GST regulations.
  • Proficient in MS Excel.
  • Familiarity with SAP system is a plus.
  • Must demonstrate accountability, keen attention to detail, strong analytical abilities, and excellent organizational skills.
