About the role
Responsible for the direct supervision and coordination of a team of Theatre Support Officers (TSO) to complete assigned tasks.

The position will liaise closely with other members of surgical teams located in individual theatres, problem solve and assist the TSO's to provide timely, responsive service to the surgical team.

  • Builds competence in others through a range of ongoing methods.
  • Manages the performance, participation, and outcomes of staff within their direct control.
  • Manages the service delivery, resources, and efficiency of the unit to meet required outcomes.
  • Highlevel communication skills to enable effective interaction in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of relevant health policies, procedures, and systems.
  • Ability to maintain appropriate relationships with team members and a broad range of clients from medical, nursing and other teams within RBWH.
