This role will support the Organisational Change Management team in ensuring the overall Organisational Change Management (OCM) implementation is aligned to the Cyber Security Enablement Program (the Program) objectives, providing adequate support and input through the implementation of change. The Program is a multi-year initiative designed to materially reduce the University's exposure to cyber security risk through the implementation of technology, controls, and business changes. The role exercises personal responsibility to meet given Program objectives and Cyber Security processes.

Specific accountabilities for this role include:

  • Provide input and insights into change planning to ensure change management approaches align to Program objectives.
  • Document change impact assessment outcomes, to determine the scale of change and associated business readiness activities required for successful change.
  • Represent the findings of change impact analysis in planning discussions with the Project/OCM team to shape program deliverables.
  • Support the development of communications/engagement/training plans and deployment.
  • Coordinate and track the monitoring of actions arising from change impact assessments and Readiness assessments.
  • Provide input, document requirements, test and support the delivery of OCM plan in order to deliver change solutions that measurably impact the change.
  • Place the 'customer' at the centre of all decision making.
  • Align with and actively demonstrate the UNSW Values in Action: Our Behaviours and the UNSW Code of Conduct.
  • Cooperate with all health and safety policies and procedures of the university and take all reasonable care to ensure that your actions or omissions do not impact on the health & safety of yourself or others.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Qualifications in relevant discipline (e.g. Prosci) or equivalent Organisational Change Analyst skills, knowledge and experience.
  • Experience in OCM impact assessments, implementation planning, delivery and mining insights across large scale change programs involving multiple business units.
  • Ability to extract and analyse data in Excel and provide sound recommendations.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills. Able to develop effective relationships and build rapport with key stakeholders at all levels in the organisation.
  • Proven ability to exercise independent judgement and problem solving with the ability to recommend viable OCM resolutions to issues as they arise.
  • Advanced MS Office, ie Excel, experience and knowledge.
