Your new role


We're looking for people who have a real drive to make a difference — for our customers, for each other, and for CSC.


As an Analyst in the Custody & Implementation team within the broader Investment Operations business unit, you will implement investment decisions through the treasury function, including implementation of transitions between investment managers.

You will maintain the treasury control framework to promote accurate, timely and complete Proper Instructions and efficient implementation of investment decisions.

Your attention to detail is critical in this 15-month contract position, based in our Canberra office. High output quality (robust, logical, technically correct), accurate research and analysis, and clear results are also essential.

Using your well-developed communications and engagement skills, you will work effectively in your team and with other teams to manage expectations and delivery timeframes.

You also be responsible for the ongoing monitoring and reporting of key metrics, managing a busy inbox and keeping informed of general correspondence.


What you'll need to excel

  • Tertiary qualifications in accounting/finance and / or working towards relevant postgraduate accounting qualifications (e.g. CA, CPA, CFA etc.)
  • Methodical and accurate, with high attention to detail with the confidence to raise issues/inaccuracies when identified.
  • High level of proficiency, knowledge and experience in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.
  • Possess welldeveloped written and clear verbal communication skills, with the drive to take and idea or concept and transform it to an outcome.
  • Strong quality assurance, critical thinking and problemsolving skills.
