In our 0-2yrs room we follow the babies/children's individual routines. In our 2-5yrs rooms we have consistent routines with a lot of choice and flexibility within.

We believe this brings a calmness to each room as the children feel secure within the rhythm of a consistent routine.

Are you interested in progressing your career to become ECT qualified?

  • On average you study 3 units each trimester and complete your degree over 3 years
  • If the centre you work at applies for a waiver for you to work as an ECT, we will even pay you as an entry level ECT whilst you study
  • You can be eligible for a waiver with just 1 year of experience as a Diploma room leader or 2 years' experience working as a fully qualified diploma
  • Also, instead of paying for the $12,450 course fees yourself and creating a Course Fee HELP debt, WE WILL PAY THE FEES FOR YOU

About the role

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with all children, families and work colleagues
  • Be able to build rapport with children through play, engage in conversation and help to create learning experiences around their interests
  • Ensure the centre environment is developmentally appropriate for children
  • Regularly monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of programs
  • Create a friendly, secure and interactive learning environment
  • Be part of a supportive team environment and culture that values each team member and promotes collaboration through sharing information and teamwork
  • Ensure a high level of health & safety standards are always maintained
Required Qualifications

  • A Diploma in Early Childhood Education
  • Current Working with Children's Check
