Brunel has partnered with a large renewables energy company dedicated to decarbonization and developing a portfolio of projects based on the production of renewable hydrogen, ammonia, minerals, and other value-added products.

Our client has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Administrative Assistant to join their dynamic team on a temporary basis, with the exciting opportunity to transition into a permanent role.


About this role

As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our Director and ensuring the smooth functioning of their office.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Director's busy diary, scheduling appointments and coordinating meetings.
  • Fulfill general ad hoc tasks as requested by the Director, demonstrating adaptability and a solutionoriented approach.
  • Handle various office administrative duties efficiently and effectively.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for buildingrelated matters, including issuing passes and overseeing Health & Safety compliance, including First Aid and Fire Marshall training.
  • Create a warm and professional atmosphere by welcoming visitors with a friendly demeanor.

About you

  • Demonstrated experience in administrative and/or reception roles within a large organization.
  • Proven track record in diary management, maintaining schedules with precision.
  • Ideally, experience supporting managers or executives at a previous role.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, allowing for seamless communication with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Confidence and composure in handling diverse situations, with a focus on customer service.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all tasks performed.
  • Ability to work independently, taking initiative and displaying selfreliance.
  • Motivated and driven, with an enthusiastic "up and go" attitude that inspires others.

Our offer

  • Based in Fortitude Valley
  • 3 days per week
- $40+ per hour (depending on experience) plus super

  • Large renewable energy client
  • Part time initially with the potential to go permanent with the client
