THE ROLE:

  • Take full control of Quality Assurance overseeing quality standards and food safety standards for the facilities and outlets
  • Advise management of ongoing improvements and plans for maintaining best practice procedures
  • Lead and mentor a small team across two fast paced, busy production sites
  • Review and improve individual specifications across the different sites
  • Provide compliance with training programs for relevant staff
  • Control internal and external audits
  • Reporting of daily management KPI's

SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:

  • Tertiary qualified in in Food Science and Technology or similar
  • Proven experience in quality management in a food manufacturing environment (5 years minimum is ideal)
  • A solid understanding of the Food Standards code and relevant regulations
  • Understanding of HACCP, BRC, CFMSR, HALAL and other standards
  • A passionate attitude driving successful outcomes and that problem solving ability that makes you calm and determined a great quality leader
  • Previously worked with major retailers is ideal, but not essential
