This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with animals in a fun and dynamic environment.


As a member of our team, you will be responsible for socialising multiple dogs, matching groups according to behaviour and personality, monitoring groups for behaviour and health changes, cleaning animal enclosures, exercising and providing enrichment and husbandry for animals (primarily dogs and cats), feeding and general care for the animals, driving pet transport vans, and office duties.

Doggy Day-care Supervisor, Casual Position - up to 5 shifts per week that may increase at peak times. You must be available to work a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends and throughout every NSW school holiday period.

Essential pre-requisites for this role are:

  • High level of experience within a similar industry
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Exceptional communication skills and sound customer service experience
  • Physical ability and time management skills
  • Extensive canine behavioural knowledge
  • Comfortable with handling multiple dogs with varying sizes and temperaments
  • Superior customer service skills
  • Current driver's license and willingness to drive our dedicated Pet Taxi as needed
  • Commitment to work weekends and holiday periods (including Christmas Day and New Year's Day)
  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency

Desirable skills and experience include:

  • 12 months or more of experience within an animalrelated industry
  • Qualification in Companion Animal Services (or similar) or large animal/farm experience
  • Dog training experience
  • Animal husbandry
  • Strong understanding of reading and understanding dog behaviour
  • Knowledge of cleaning and infection control procedures
  • Excellent facetoface and written communication skills
  • Ability or scope to learn reservation programs
  • Confident driving a transport van around the city
  • Aptitude for training and learning
  • Ability to perform unsupervised as well as part of a team.
We offer a competitive rate of $ $30.51 per hour, as well as employee discounts and a mentoring program. This position requires a reliable commute or willingness to relocate to Dural, NSW 2158.
