About the role and company:

Our client is an industry leader within the construction sector that specializes in quality roofing supplies.

In this role, you will be responsible for the smooth running of the production and distribution within the Roofing section, manufacturing critical components to the highest standard and within expected timeframes.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Safe and efficient use of manufacturing equipment, such as: Guillotine, Press brake, Roll press, Slitter / Slitter Folder, Various hand tools
  • Interpretation of basic engineering and flashing drawings
  • Managing workload to ensure timely production of finished goods
  • Abiding by quality standards, ensuring all goods are produced to the highest quality
  • Maintaining a safe working environment for all staff, reporting any concerns to management
  • Coordinating and leading a small team of staff to achieve targets

Requirements for this role:

  • Experience within the roofing industry is highly advantageous
  • A track record of leading/coordinating a team of staff
  • Ability to use necessary trade tools
  • Be punctual and reliable
  • An LF forklift licence is not essential but highly desirable
