Work Location: Eliwana - Fortescue's Eliwana mine is located on the traditional lands of the Puutu Kunti Kurrama

Roster: 14D/14R – FIFO ex Perth

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Tradesperson to join our team at Fortescue's Eliwana mine. This role offers a 14D/14R FIFO roster from Perth and focuses on the maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of our Fixed Plant operations. Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and scope continuous improvement opportunities
  • Raise notifications and work orders
  • Perform breakdown and fault finding on Fixed Plant equipment
  • Conduct preventative maintenance on Fixed Plant equipment
  • Participate in modular and shutdown maintenance activities
  • Carry out statutory testing and inspections

Qualifications and Experience

  • Electrical trade qualification
  • Current WA 'A' class electrical worker's licence
  • High voltage ticket and experience with HV Switching
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an electrical tradesperson or Electrical/Instrumentation Technician in a continuous operating plant environment (maintenance experience preferred)
  • Proficiency in PLC systems and control communication systems
  • Basic instrumentation experience
  • Experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of Variable Speed Drives
  • Strong understanding of electrical schematics, isolation, and permitting systems
  • Familiarity with computer-based maintenance systems, such as SAP (desirable)
