About the role

The Physiotherapy Aide supports the Physiotherapist in delivering physiotherapy programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Aid in developing, maintaining, and monitoring physiotherapy programs as directed by the Physiotherapist; participate in case conferences for residents as needed.
  • Provide physiotherapy to residents as per programs and care plans.
  • Assist in equipment maintenance and assessment for replacement.
  • Perform therapeutic services such as exercise and application of splints under supervision.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of treatments.
  • Contribute to resident and service outcome reports upon request.

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or Certificate III in Aged Care.
