The Head of Sales & Customer Service ANZ is accountable for achieving sales and profitability objectives, from existing and new customers / or accounts and improving service / product delivery to Landis+Gyr's customers.
The Head of Sales & Customer Service ANZ:
- Sets and monitors sales targets,
- Develops and deploys ensures account plans,
- Forecasts accurately short
- Identifies growth opportunities through existing customers and potential customers,
- Develops and actions strategic pursuits,
- Develops and maintains strong and longterm customer relationships,
- Leads team members,
- Resolves issues and handle complaints quickly and effectively,
- Leads tender responses and submissions,
- Negotiates customer contracts and close agreements,
- Manages customer contracts,
- Identifies products for the future and gaps in the current product / solution portfolio,
Key Performance Indicator:
The key performance measures for the role are: Business Management
- Drives change in the organisation to get employee buyin and execution of dynamic market
- Defines the direction and focus of the organisation so that all employees can understand and share the overall objectives; and
- Identifies high level customer/market needs and translates these into product/service requirements, seeks alignment on development and manufacturing cycle times to market needs.
- Focuses self and team to consistently achieve company targets;
- Operates as an inclusive member of ANZ team to ensure targets are met;
- Drives continuous improvement in Delivery to Customers; and
Sales and Business Development
- Develops the sales strategies for the Australian marketplace as an overall and on an individual account level, manages their implementation and outcomes to achieve agreed targets. Focuses on protecting and growing existing revenue lines while developing new revenue growth opportunities. The sales strategies also ensure sustainable growth building a platform for year on year growth,
- Plays the key role in pricing strategies for the ANZ market segments,
- Coordinates and participates in the compilation of budgets and forecasts for sales in the Australian and selected markets,
- Manages the sales pipeline for Australia ensuring at all times that there is the appropriate depth of opportunity to deliver annual revenue targets; and
Relationship Building
- Represents Landis+Gyr with industry stakeholders across Australia, including government bodies and industry associations and at industry conferences and exhibitions,
- Drives customer relationship management taking responsibility for creating excellent executive level customer relationships across Australia,
- Leads selected major strategic sales opportunities in Australia utilising Target Account Selling (TAS) plans, conducting relevant bid reviews with L+G's senior management team and obtaining the approvals prior to offer,
- Develops relevant partner and supplier relations to ensure successful business execution, coordinating activities with L+G's senior management team as appropriate;
- Leads the Australian negotiation team during sales engagement procedures and processes; and,
Performs the role of coach, mentor and confidante to the customer focus teams with the aim of building an outstanding customer engagement team, consistently aligned to the goals of the company and focused on delivering customer success.
- Provides strategic leadership on delivery strategies to meet customer & company requirements for projects and services and meet business objectives;
- Manages service delivery, leveraging the matrixed structure;
- Fosters a culture where continuous improvement and customer centricity drive best practices in service and project management standards and technologies;
