About the Role:

A fabulous permanent part-time position has opened up at The Courier as a Telesales Consultant located in Ballarat. As part of the local sales team, the Telesales Consultant will serve as the primary point of contact for advertising inquiries across various publications.

• Assist various titles and operating groups beyond the main portfolio when necessary.
• Represent mastheads and products across all available commercial offerings.
• Generate new leads through cold calling and other channels.
• Maintain relationships with existing customers in different revenue verticals.
• Create tailored pitches to meet customers' classifieds needs.
• Develop relationships with new customers, set sales targets, and offer ongoing support.
• Present new solutions to existing accounts and ensure customer retention.

Skills and Experience:

• Prior experience in sales or customer service in the media sector.
• Excellent interpersonal and telephone communication skills.
• A results-oriented mindset and strong teamwork capabilities.
• Proficient in written and verbal communication, along with solid computer skills.
