WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Oversee department operations to maintain high standards and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant authorities, including international compliance where required.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to optimize processes and achieve operational excellence.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, overseas agents, airlines, suppliers and regulatory agencies.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance department performance and customer satisfaction.

TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL HAVE

  • Successful experience as a Perishables Manager, with a preference within the Freight Forwarding & Logistics.
  • Proven track record in business development, including identifying new opportunities, negotiating contracts and rates, and establishing strategic partnerships.
  • Indepth knowledge of various transportation channels within the freight industry.
  • Proven ability to achieve and surpass KPIs and targets.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
