About the role

This is an exciting role for an experienced paediatric dietitian who wants to make a difference The Paediatric Dietitian will be a valuable addition to the dietetics team by providing and develop clinical service to Paediatric services including Special Care Nursery across Box Hill and Angliss Hospitals.

Other key responsibilities include clinical supervision, involvement in the paediatric clinical interest group and contribute to paediatric projects/research.

Clinical supervision is an important part of our everyday practice and is supported widely by the Eastern Health Dietetics department.

Eastern Health Dietetics operates from many different locations, with our largest sites including Angliss Hospital, Box Hill Hospital, Maroondah Hospital, Peter James Centre, Wantirna Health and Healesville Hospital.

About you

To be successful in this role you will possess:
Demonstrated recent experience in paediatrics, including special care nursery and outpatient clinics.

Post-graduate/under graduate qualifications which make you eligible for membership for Dietitians' Australia.

Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.

Experience with quality improvement/research.

Ability to work in a diverse team and excellent problem solving skills.

Strong commitment to high quality patient care.

Ability to be flexible and adaptable in a fast paced environment
