Purpose of the Position:


The purpose of this position is to develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients by demonstrating your knowledge and capability to discuss our leading educational technologies, resources and software programs to schools, public libraries and healthcare providers.

It is expected that you will maintain a high level of product knowledge to be able to provide recommendations to clients, offer support where required, arrange product demonstration appointments, and provide regular updates on our company or products as required.


It is important that you are an advocate of our company by following all of our policies and procedures as well as contributing to our mission, purpose, vision and values so our company can perform at its best.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively contact prospective customers in the education, public library and health fields by telephone
  • Responsible for building and maintaining client base within select regions of Australia and New Zealand
  • Inspire prospective and existing customers to participate in product demonstrations with the aim of inspiring them to purchase our technologies
  • Develop enduring relationships with clients and assist them with solution focused outcomes
  • Maintain accurate records using a CRM system
  • Other variations to duties as required

Essential Criteria:

  • Excellent telephone manner and exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Ability to build strong working relationships
  • Demonstrate strong product knowledge and stay up to date with all of the business' products, services and promotions
  • Strong sales knowledge and skills to ensure financial targets are set and achieved
  • Demonstrate excellent organisational and record keeping skills
  • Self‐motivated and always planned and organised for work/meetings
  • Problem solving skills with the understanding of how to identify problems and overcome them
  • Demonstrate ability to work in a team environment
