Research Laboratoryengineer

Our client, based in Perth's northern suburbs, is a medical device company delivering clinically superior solutions that help healthcare professionals create life-changing outcomes for patients.

They currently have an opening for a Research Laboratory Engineer to assist with the layout and execution of Research and Development Laboratory projects.

An early career or recent engineering (Biomedical or mechanical) graduate would be ideally suited to this role. This is a full time 9 month part-time 20-30 hours per week casual contract.

About this role

The role has a combination of duties including:

• Tensile and Burst tissue testing
• AWT valve testing
• Pulse duplicator valve testing
• Good lab documentation practices (recording data, sample traceability, etc.)

About you

• Early career of recent graduate
• Bench testing (Systematic analysis of product performance)
• Experience supporting or running laboratory experiments (Ideally with biological tissue)
• Open to a PT role of 2030 hours per week to cover maternity leave through the end of the year.
