One of Australia's reputable Federal Government Departments is looking to engage with a
ICT Strategist / Project Support Officer to join their team.

The successful
ICT Strategist / Project Support Officer under the direction of the Director to improve the capability and interoperability of departmental systems and processes.

The successful
ICT Strategist / Project Support Officer will secure an
initial 12 month contract plus 2 x 6 month extension options and
a rewarding hourly rate.


The successful
ICT Strategist / Project Support Officer will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Work with a small team and engage across the Department to develop a framework for assessing current state ICT and identifying opportunities from a range of perspectives
  • Design and lead the engagement and consultation across the Department on the draft Roadmap, including technical and business areas and Senior Executives.
  • Conduct analysis to identify opportunities across government to collaborate and drive benefits for the department
  • Work with management team to identify risks that affect project costs, profits, and customer relations.
The successful
ICT Strategist / Project Support Officer will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Demonstrated experience in working with strategy or policy development
  • Proven ability to analyse data to derive useful information and insights
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral, including the ability to explain complex concepts to a nontechnical audience.
  • Ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
