Your areas of responsibility:

  • Supplier Management: Manage supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery of highquality goods and services at the best possible cost. Build strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable delivery of goods and services.
  • Procurement: Lead procurement activities, including the sourcing, negotiation, and management of contracts for goods and services.
  • Packaging: Develop, evaluate and implement packaging strategies to optimise quality, sustainability, product presentation and protect products during transport.
  • Strategy Setting: Develop and implement category strategies that align with the overall business strategy.
  • Subcontractor and 3rd party Management: Manage subcontractors and thirdparty providers to ensure that they meet quality and regulatory standards and contractual obligations.
  • Risk Management: Identify and manage procurementrelated risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Sustainability Sourcing: Develop and implement sustainable procurement strategies that align with the organisation's sustainability goals.

Qualifications we are looking for:

  • Tertiary qualifications in business, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement category management or supply chain management role.
  • Experience in managing procurement categories.
  • Strong vendor negotiation, contract management, and supplier management skills.
  • Experience with SAP and advanced Excel skills desirable.
  • Strong analytical, problemsolving, and decisionmaking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
