About the role

As part of our Passenger & Commercial vehicle area, you will join the auction buzz and have the opportunity to drive a variety of cars through our weekly live auction lanes.

The role will be based outdoors and include stock control and exiting of vehicles to and from our gatehouse. This position requires attention to detail, and quality of care to our customers' vehicles.

We have different roles within our Operations teams with a variety of responsibilities including, but not limited, to:

• Preparing vehicles on the auction pad ready for live auction using our IT devices.
• Processing lotting of vehicles, stock movements and stock takes.
• Driving vehicles through a live auction and moving the vehicles around the site as required
• Liaise with key operations personnel to ensure the accurate processing of customer vehicles.
• Photographing vehicles to prepare for auction and operating the photobooth.
• Washing, detailing and predetailing vehicles.

About you:

• Strong commitment to Safety.
• Willing to undergo background checks (Police and Work Rights) and a preemployment medical (including a drug and alcohol test) as part of the recruitment process

Please note:
we also conduct random drug and alcohol tests onsite.

• Some knowledge or interest in the car insurance industry would be advantageous.
• Ability to follow a process and carry out work in an independent manner.
• Happy to work in a team and autonomously.
• This role is working predominantly outdoors so will need to be comfortable working outside for long periods of time.
• Basic computer skills.
