An exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing food manufacturer that supplies their products to leading retailers and independent distributors throughout Australia, Singapore and Hong Kong.

They are a small business but with large ambition and are passionate about delivering high-quality products to customers and driving business success.

As they continue to significantly expand, they have an exciting opportunity for a part-time bookkeeper to join their small team.


Key Responsibilities & Skills Required:

As the part-time Xero Bookkeeper, you will play a pivotal role in managing all bookkeeping activities

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Minimum 3+ years bookkeeping experience
  • Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles
  • Quarterly BAS preparation and lodgement, monthly super lodgement, bank account reconciliations, allocation of payments and receipts, preparation and processing of weekly payroll, full function accounts receivable
  • Answering customer and supplier queries
  • Data entry, coding of supplier, customer and bank transactions
  • Additional administration and data entry around the warehouse and office that may be required to help with the generally running of the business.
  • Creating and sending customer invoices using Xero Accounting Software.
  • Processing orders on Woolworths and Coles portals in a timely manner (experience in Coles Supplier Portal and Woolworths Partner Hub would be highly regarded)
  • Booking and coordinating deliveries with internal and external teams.
  • Receiving Goods and Stock Control
  • From time to time you might be required to assist in different aspects of the business we are small but growing team where everyone pitches in to get the job done
  • Must be proficient with Xero and Microsoft Office
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Deputy (rostering and timesheet software) knowledge (highly regarded)
  • Well organised with excellent time management skills.
  • Positive attitude and great willingness to learn.
