About the Role:
You will have responsibility for leading and delivery of the following activities and key tasks:
- Assisting students and staff.
- Assistance to IR Administrator
- Supply Teachers
- Assisting with Year 9 and 10 enrolments.
- Communicating effectively and displaying high level of interpersonal skills to function as a effective team member.
- Maintaining anecdotal records.
- Displaying respect and empathy for students with high level needs.
- Displaying confidentiality, tact, reliability and sensitively to students and their families.
- Clerical assistance duties at a very high standard.
- Assistance with various school events/ceremonies.
- Assisting with the development and distribution of the fortnightly School Newsletter.
- QParents process.
Other additional responsibilities may include:
- Assisting with the management and stocktaking of equipment and resources.
- The compiling and supervising of class rolls.
- Contributing to the welfare, health and safety of students including the delivery of first aid.
- Facetoface Literacy and Numeracy assistance.
When working in regulated employment an employee must have a current Working with Children Clearance (blue card) issued by Blue Card Services.
About You:
Our ideal applicant will possess the following skills and experience:
- Demonstrated excellent reception, clerical, ability to problem solve, high end computer skills and priority time management skills.
- A great understanding of school/corporate processes and procedures is desirable.
- High level use of OneSchool and DayMap or ability to quickly learn DayMap if not experienced in this.
