Job description
MADO Restaurant ( ABN at South Brisbane currently seeking to sponsor a Full-Time Duty Manager to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
As a duty manager you will be responsible for the successful operation of the restaurant, including the management of staff, health and safety procedures and restaurant presentation

  • Advanced product knowledge (beer /wine / spirits / cocktails)
  • Impeccable attention to detail and time management
  • Accurate cash handling and balancing
  • Accuracy in literacy and numeracy
  • Positive leadership / supervisory skills including problem solving, solution generation and trouble shooting
  • A team player with a highlevel of selfmotivation and listening skills
  • An ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
  • A high standard of hygiene and personal presentation
  • Be punctual, reliable and dependable
  • Have initiative, commitment and passion for your job
Duties and responsibilities but not limited to

  • Ensuring compliance with licensing, hygiene and health and safety legislation/guidelines.
  • Overseeing stock levels and ordering supplies
  • Staff management
  • Patron management
  • Overseeing implementation of RSA and RCG practices
  • Customer enquiries and/or complaints
  • Enforcing and advocating Restaurant Policies and Procedures
  • Being a positive teamfocused individual who leads by example
Qualifications and work experience required for the position are

  • In Australia: AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma
  • And at least 2 years of work experience in the nominated occupation
