About the Role

Trinity Catholic College have an exciting opportunity for a Youth Ministry Officer to join our school community The Youth Ministry Officer will assist the teacher in supporting religious education curriculum in classrooms.

• This position is temporary in nature as it is dependent on a specific programme which is not of an ongoing nature._

Essential Criteria
The successful applicant will possess and be able to demonstrate:

• Sound understanding of and ability to articulate the Church's mission in Catholic education.
• Understanding of the Catholic Schools Youth Ministry Australia or other school/ curriculumbased youth ministry formation programs.
• Good knowledge, and personal commitment to, the Catholic Church and its teachings.
• Sound organisation and administration skills.
• Sound interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and be responsible and accountable for own work.
• Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Compliance with relevant federal and state legislation (including child protection laws) and educational guidelines/ directives.
• Compliance with WHS requirements in maintaining a safe workplace and safe systems of work.
