Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations on the construction site, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budget, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and construction crew members to ensure efficient and safe work practices.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective measures as needed.
  • Collaborate closely with project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, clients, and regulatory authorities, to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including project schedules, progress reports, and safety records.
  • Implement and enforce site safety protocols and procedures to promote a safe working environment for all personnel.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing project requirements.

What you will bring to the role

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (is preferred).
  • Experience as a Site Manager, ideally in a Tier 1 or Tier 2 environment.
  • Previous involvement in a range of project types and industries, e.g. commercial, residential and education, including both new build and fitout projects (desirable)
  • Proven track record of delivering high quality construction projects.
  • Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve project goals.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
