Project Manager Position: Tunnel Ventilation Systems

The Spark Consortium is selected for the North East Link Project, Victoria's significant road initiative.

Webuild, CPB Contractors, GS Engineering and Construction, and China Construction Oceania form Central Package's Design and Construction Contractor for the project.

The Public Private Partnership includes twin three-lane tunnels connecting the M80 Ring Road to an upgraded Eastern Freeway, reducing travel times and easing congestion.

Exciting Opportunity:

A Project Manager is needed for the North East Link Project focusing on Tunnel Ventilation Systems.

The role involves managing the implementation of tunnel ventilation systems in designated areas to enhance safety.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead strategic planning, execution, and oversight of tunnel ventilation systems.
  • Manage a diverse delivery team effectively.
  • Direct all phases of system delivery.
  • Manage financial, commercial, and quality aspects.
  • Collaborate with teams to integrate systems seamlessly.
  • Ensure compliance with standards and best practices.
  • Assess system performance and implement improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 10 years of TVS management experience.
  • Deep knowledge of Australian Standards for tunnel systems.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
