About the Position

We are in search of a skilled and enthusiastic Retail Manager to lead our team and collaborate closely with the Pharmacist Manager. Your role involves overseeing the day-to-day Retail operations at the Pharmacy, ensuring exceptional service for our customers and the continuous success of United Chemists Southgate.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Retail section of the Pharmacy, including staff training, scheduling, and daily operations oversight.
  • Ensure prompt and efficient fulfillment of customer needs.
  • Oversee inventory management, stock levels, and pricing strategies.
  • Develop and execute sales tactics to enhance revenue and profitability.
  • Work alongside the Pharmacist Manager to deliver a seamless customer experience.
  • Maintain a safe and hygienic environment for customers and staff.

About You

If you possess the determination to achieve budget targets through exceptional people management, leadership, and have experience in a dynamic retail setting, this role is tailored for you.

Qualifications:

  • Previous essential Retail management experience, ideally in a Pharmacy or healthcare setting.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Effective analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to collaborate with a diverse team.
  • Knowledge of Pharmacy and Retail operations best practices.
  • Proficiency in POS WORKS, stock control, cash handling, security, and store presentation.
  • Preferably Certificate I, II, or III in Community Pharmacy.
  • Proficient in various computer applications.
  • Understanding of staff rostering and store budgets.
  • Solution-oriented mindset.
  • Experience in staff performance management and supplier relationships.
  • Promotion of the Pharmacy as a hub for health advice and information.
  • Flexibility to engage in different Pharmacy areas.
  • Provide ongoing support and mentorship to foster team development and improvement.
