About the business and the role

The Sydney Clinic is a boutique mental health hospital with a renowned focus on best practice patient experience and satisfaction. We are idyllically located near Bronte Beach in The Eastern Suburbs.

We require a casual Receptionist to join our small and friendly team. You will have great time management skills, be able to proactively manage the front office with a focus on excellent customer service. The applicant will need to provide an informed point of contact for patients and will work closely with the rest of the team in all areas of the day-to-day running. Three days per week.

Job tasks and responsibilities

But not limited to:

·Manage a busy reception desk

·Answer calls and admit patients

·Manage the collection of payments

·Ensure patients experience is of a high standard

·Ability to liaise with Doctors,

·Other ad-hoc clerical front office duties.

Skills and experience

Would preferably have:

·Experience in Medical software such WEBPAS

·Have good understanding of Private Health Funds and Workers Compensation

·Have worked within the medical industry

·Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

·Highly developed organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment

Applicants will be required to provide a current (3 months or less) National Police check and a NSW Working with Children check prior to appointment. Persons in patient contact roles will be required to provide proof of vaccination/immunity to specified infectious diseases as Category A Healthcare worker.
