They are looking to make their first hire in Australia, offering a unique opportunity for someone to spearhead and oversee their operations in this region. This role is perfect for an ambitious Freight Forwarding professional who has exceptional operational knowledge looking to rapidly grow their career.
Key responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
- Maintain and enhance relationships with existing clients through regular communication, providing updates on shipments and addressing any concerns
- Work to understand clients' specific needs and provide tailored logistics solutions to meet those needs.
Operational Management
- Oversee all aspects of import and export operations, including compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure timely and cost-effective movement of goods, managing logistics from origin to destination.
Global Coordination
- Collaborate with our global team to develop and refine our cross-border supply chain solutions.
- Coordinate with international partners to ensure smooth and efficient logistics operations across borders.
Financial Management
- Handle invoicing and oversee financial transactions related to logistics operations.
- Ensure accurate and timely billing and reconciliation of accounts.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in freight forwarding
- Proven track record in operations and managing client relationships.
- Strong understanding of import/export logistics, especially in relation to Australia-China trade
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Proficiency in Cargowise and Microsoft Office suite
- Native Chinese language skills are required
Details
Salary - Open pending previous experience
Location - Chatswood, with WFH offered
