The Opportunity_

We are seeking an enthusiastic Timber Yard Person or Store person at our Sydney branch, who takes pride in their work, to support our busy warehouse located in Strathfield South.

Your key focus will be to accurately pick, pack and dispatch stock orders in a timely manner.

The Role_
It is essential for this person to be self-motivated, reliable and be prepared to show flexibility when needed. This person needs to be willing to learn and be co-operative in a friendly company environment.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Forklift driving
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Dealing with customers assisting with orders
• Organisation of stock within the warehouse
• Customer service
• Unpacking incoming stock
• Packing outgoing stock
• Keeping warehouse tidy
• Unpacking containers
• Stock counts

The Requirements_

• Previous experience working in with formwork and construction industry desirable so that product are familiar but not essential as training can be provided
• Forklift license essential
• Truck license _preferable but not essential_
• The ability to work within a team and unsupervised
• Strong commitment to quality control and working to schedules
• Your ability to communicate effectively with customers and staff at all levels will ensure your success in this role.
