About the role


We're seeking a Commercial Agreements Manager to manage our end-to-end Customer & Technology commercial agreements, including being the Customer & Technology relationship manager supporting Transurban Assets, Partners and Government Departments.

Day-to-day, you will:

  • Develop deep knowledge of the agreements and contracts effecting Customer & Technology and work with teams on new contractual agreements when required
  • Establish a stakeholder engagement model and represent Customer &Technology in meetings within Transurban or as requested with external parties
  • Ensure risk and compliance policies and processes are in place to drive compliance to the Agreements and Contracts
  • Provide reporting at an initiative, project or program level as well as a wholistic view for Customer &Technology stakeholders
  • Facilitate any meetings to understand and manage financial and budget impacts to initiative, project or programs including mergers and acquisitions or divestment of assets
This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferrable skills and experiences, including:

  • A degree in the commercial space or other relevant academic qualifications
  • Ideally have some inhouse corporate experience gained in commercially focused roles, with a demonstrated ability to develop and deliver commercial solutions
  • Your commercial acumen and judgement will be second to none, and you'll lean on your impeccable stakeholder management skills to influence change and decision making
  • You'll be inquisitive and want to understand the commercial, business and technology drivers that will influence the development and maintenance of Transurban's technology strategy and commercial position within the market place
  • Ability to identify tasks and activities required to meet customer requirements and to set goals and priorities in line with business objectives
