About the position:

The Cyber Security Advisory team at Tyro plays a critical role in guiding security measures for projects and daily operations. Advisors serve as the watchdogs of security, building relationships with key players to ensure that security risks are identified, addressed, and aligned with business objectives, all while staying within risk boundaries.

This hands-on role is primarily focused on:

Execution: 80% | Change Management: 20%

Key responsibilities include:

    • Deep dive into Tyro's product portfolio, technology stack, and applications.
    • Evaluate security strategies within designated areas and maintain strong partnerships with stakeholders.
    • Provide expert cyber security guidance to embed security controls into solutions for regulatory compliance.
    • Conduct Security Assessments, Third Party Assessments, and Design reviews.
    • Collaborate with teammates to enhance operational processes.
    • Drive improvements in security architectural patterns.

Qualifications:

    • Demonstrable experience in cybersecurity consulting/advisory roles.
    • Solid grasp of security concepts.
    • Excellent communication and influencing skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
    • Comprehensive knowledge of IT, Cyber Security, and Data Management.
    • Familiarity with Azure and AWS cloud services.
    • Preferably holds a CISSP or CISM certification.
