Our West Musgrave nickel-copper project is located on Ngaanyatjarra country, in the Musgrave Province of Central Western Australia, and includes the Nebo and Babel nickel-copper deposits and the Succoth copper deposit.


West Musgrave, which has a 26-year mine life, will be an owner-operator mining operation and in addition to being powered by ~80 per cent renewable energy, the Project scope includes a pathway to net zero Scope 1 emissions by 2038.


The Project will feature an Autonomous Haulage System and remote operations from day one and our workforce will be a flexible, technology enabled team supported by remote operations to improve safety outcomes and maximise opportunities for flexible working and diverse participation.

The Details:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Administrator - Procurement to join our Commercial team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Timely conversion of purchase requisitions into purchase orders in accordance with internal policies.
  • Compliance with internal policies to ensure separation of duties regarding preparation of purchase requisitions from the conversion of that purchase requisition into a purchase order.
  • Accurate and timely preparation and release of purchase orders across the Project.
  • Initiate supplier set up in Agiloft.
  • Timely invoice receipting to ensure on time payment in accordance with internal policies.
  • Support Commercial Leads with the effective administration of executed Contracts.
  • Assess, validate and manage payment claims.
  • Support the preparation of commercial correspondence.
  • Support the sign off and approval of key documents as per the DOA policy.
  • Provide support to the management of the post award contracts database / control system.
  • Support commercial team in project reporting.

Applicant Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience working within a purchasing function of a large organisation
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the use of a computerised finance or purchasing system (preferably SAP)
  • Strong experience in the conversion of purchase requisitions to purchase orders.
  • Previous experience in the administration of contracts, including invoice receipting, payments and database management.
  • A highly organised collaborator with genuine willingness to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including vendors.
  • A keen eye for detail and accuracy of information.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Selfmotivated, reliable, and considerate.
  • Positive mindset and commitment to achieving set outcomes within agreed timeframes.
  • Desire to learn and develop other supporting skills in a commercial space.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel and Outlook.
